Schotter wie Heu plot

Documentary about a small, old-fashioned farm loan bank in the small German provincial town of Gammesfeld. The bank's manager, Fritz Vogt, is also a cashier and accountant at the same time, and swears by old-fashioned equipment. The bank does not claim to make a profit for itself, but for the customer. The bank has the highest savings rates and the lowest credit rates in the country. Is life in the countryside so much better, or is it peasant naivety? A documentary about a topic that is still current.
