Sarasate 'El Espíritu Español' plot
The great Spanish violinist and composer Pablo Sarasate has been a famous name in the music world since he appeared on stage as a young boy. Born in 1844 in Pamplona (Spain), his life took an early flight to Madrid and at the age of eleven to France, which became his home base from which he would travel the world. His love for his native country, combined with the compositional fashion for incorporating folklore figures into new compositions, resulted in him composing nearly sixty pieces that he performed during his travels and which subsequently made him world famous.
