Samuel e a Luz plot
Young Samuel lives in Ponta Negra, Brazil, where the residents live without electricity. They lead an idyllic life, in harmony with nature. When the 'Light for All' project arrives, everything changes. Filmed over six years, the documentary follows a family living in a small village on the coast of Brazil. The established rhythms of their lives are changing with the arrival of electricity and tourism in their community. Focusing on Samuel, the youngest of the family, the film portrays the influence of industrialization on a previously idyllic community.
