Sagal: Snake and Scorpion plot

In 2020, filmmaker Lee Dongwoo discovered that Geonho, his film school classmate whom he hadn't seen for six years, had borrowed money in his name. Approaching him, Lee learns that his friend has become a loan shark himself, is addicted to gambling, likes to eat out expensively, and steals money from his employees. Geonho is self-aware and often puts himself down, but has a cheerful disposition that is so contradictory to his insecurity and pathological obsessions that he feels more like a fictional hero in a tragicomedy.
