Rotterdam, een Ongemakkelijk Sprookje plot

Frame story about two ladies who conduct interviews in Rotterdam for a year, visit people, or just spend a day in the city. A frame story that is somewhere between the 'Fairytales from a Thousand and One Nights' and Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales'. The stories are not so much about Rotterdam as a collection of houses and buildings, but about the people of Rotterdam who live, work and try to enjoy themselves there. The common thread is the story of two women who spend a year in different places in the city, signaling remarkable things and meeting all kinds of different people, without a clear goal or apparent reason.
