Ron Hynes: Man of a Thousand Songs plot

A documentary about Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Hynes. This film shows Ron performing live in front of the camera and this is interwoven with 'black box interviews' with Ron filmed in close up and facing the camera directly, discussing his songs as well as the life contained within them: late nights, dark alleys, marriage, children, the divorce, his near death and recovery from his drug addiction, and this is laced with backstage moments, insights from the street and commentary from Ron's cousin, author Joel Thomas Hynes , who takes on the interpretation of the 'opinion of the people'.
