Riviera Hotel plot

In the 1950s, Havana was the symbol of extravagance and glamour. Its center was the Malecón, the boulevard where notorious American mafiosi such as Meyer Lansky, Santo Trafficante and Lucky Luciano ran a number of hotels and casinos at the time. 'Riviera Hotel' is a documentary about Cuba in the waning days of the Castro era. Central to this is the Riviera Hotel, once the setting for parties, booze and gambling for Havana's jet set. In addition to mafiosi, celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner also stayed here.
