Almost every artist has a muse. This also applies to architect and furniture maker Gerrit Rietveld. The love between him and Truus Schröder led to the design of the Rietveld Schröder House in 1924. Rietveld designed this iconic house in Utrecht together with and for Truus, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. In this documentary, Rietveld's work is viewed from the perspective of his muse Truus and her love for him and his work.
