Rem plot

Rem Koolhaas is the Netherlands' best-known architect and also very influential internationally. In Rotterdam's home base, the Kunsthal and the City Office, among other things, bear witness to his talent and vision. But he has built iconic buildings around the world, such as the CCTV tower in Beijing and the Casa da Música in Porto. Filmmaker Tomas Koolhaas made a portrait of his world-famous and acclaimed father. He followed him on trips abroad, interviewing users of some of his designs, such as the Boudet couple who live in the famed Villa dall'Ava in Paris and a few homeless people for whom the Seattle public library has become a kind of home.
