"We are a reflection of repeated histories."

A surreal exploration of the war in Bosnia, told from the unbreakable spirit of seven inhabitants for whom the strength to leave was as great as the struggle to stay. The film weaves live action with haunting collage animation and still images, following two lovers whose bond is formed the moment war engulfs their world. Guided by the presence of real survivors, their journey unfolds in a dreamlike haze of shifting realities, in which memory and trauma merge, but also resilience and hope.
