In Spain, the movement, a citizens' initiative known as Movimiento 15M (May 15 Movement) was founded in 2011 in response to the banking crisis and in protest against rampant neoliberalism. In 2014, this movement gave birth to the Podemos party, which shortly after entered parliament in 2015 as the third strongest party in the country. Fernando León de Aranoa enjoyed unrestricted access to party leaders Pablo Iglesias, Íñigo Errejón and their fellow activists as he followed the party's journey with the camera until it became a new force in Spain's traditional two-party system.
