Poetins Olympische Droom plot

Putin's Olympic Dream is a cinematic portrait of a city in a rapid transition. From a Soviet holiday resort, Sochi must quickly change into the calling card of the new Russia. The Winter Olympics are to take place here in February 2014 and until then everything has to give way to make this mega project a mega success. It is the prestige project of Prime Minister and sportsman Vladimir Putin. With the Winter Games he wants to give Russia back the prestige of yesteryear. It should be about three years from now and everyone in and around the city will have something to do with it. The film is therefore not only a portrait of the city of Sochi and of modern Russia, but also a realistic portrait of the man who came up with it all: Putin.
