Pirotecnia plot

In this film essay, Federico Atehortúa Arteaga alternates between Colombian history and his youth. Both are included in images that don't always tell the truth. Falsos positivos, murdered youths dressed as guerillas by the military to simulate military success, is a key element. Archive images - personal and public - are interwoven to show the systematic violence. The Colombian director reveals a correspondence between cinema and war.
