Piosenka i Zycie plot

In August 1981 the first independent trade union movement in Eastern Europe, Solidarnosc (Solidarity) celebrated its one year anniversary. The movement played an important role in the resistance against the communist regime in Poland. The early anniversary was celebrated with a poster on which a one-year-old child takes her first steps. Klementyna is as old as this movement that changed Poland forever. This documentary portrays Klementyna, Kasia, Lukasz and Artur, all 'children' who grew up during the rise of Solidarnosc and now live in a country that is free and democratic. What has become of them and how do they experience the freedoms their parents fought for?
