At the ripe old age of 83, Swedish sailor Sven Yrvind has become known worldwide for his solo voyages across the oceans. For the past five years he has been assembling his boat and preparing for the difficulties of being alone on the open sea. Yrvind will sail from Ireland to New Zealand, a distance of nearly 15,000 miles, which is expected to take 300 days. While many view Yrvind's scheme as a reckless undertaking, he himself believes himself to be one of the few sensible people in the world.
