Philips-Radio plot
Thousands of poor farm workers from Brabant, who a generation earlier still lived in the Middle Ages, as Philips employees, suddenly found themselves in a new world. We see the images of the glassblowers, whose cheeks bulge to inhuman size. The products, the Philips radios, also ushered in a new era, through mass communication and breaking cultural and mental boundaries. Philips Radio not only provides an image of a modern production process, it is also an example of avant-garde design with sometimes abstract, sometimes surreal images
