Petit Dru Nordwand – Der Zerfallene Berg plot

The north face of the Petit Dru, altered and destroyed by landslides in 1997, serves as a metaphor for the lives of two exceptional mountaineers, which take a completely different turn after dramatic accidents: the Briton Andy Parkin was seriously injured as a mountain guide in 1984 and started after his recovery a career as an artist. In the film, he can be seen at work in his studio at Chamonix. For the well-known American top-alpinist Steve House, two accidents were the reason to think carefully about his life as a mountaineer.
