Pelikaanstraat 20 plot

We follow the Antwerp Aminata Demba. She travels to Mali in the footsteps of her late father. He left his native country as a young Malian nomad to discover the world around him. His adventure took him to various African countries, but eventually he ended up in the diamond sector of Antwerp in the early 1970s as an expat. A temporary plan became a permanent plan. Aminata, herself born in Antwerp, reflects on crucial questions related to her own identity and origin.
