Paths through Utopias plot

During a seven-month journey in 2008, John Jordan and Isabelle Fremeaux visit a dozen European projects trying to build a life outside the capitalist system. The makers visit an occupied factory, various alternative housing projects, an area where activists are preventing the expansion of Heathrow Airport and Christiania in Denmark. In conversations with residents, a picture is sketched of a political movement that takes place outside the parliamentary system.
