Passion - Between Revolt and Resignation plot
Nearly 50 years ago, many young people around the world believed that their engagement and activism would bring about major change. In this essay film, Labhart explores what remains of their hopes and dreams. Images of today's world are accompanied by texts by left-wing thinkers such as Franz Kafka and Bertolt Brecht. Global warming, war, over-consumption, refugee crises and inequality... Despite all the warnings, the world is moving deeper and deeper into the capitalist jungle. But Labhart's personal relationship with activism is also discussed. He shows how he changed slowly, simultaneously with the major changes in the world.
