Parallax Sounds plot

Since the 1990s, Chicago has established itself as one of the most interesting cities musically, despite its decentralized location to the dualistic East and West Coasts. Most of the credits go to the likes of Steve Albini (journalist, critic, producer and frontman of the group Shellac), David Grubbs, Damon Locks, Ken Vandermark and Ian Wiliams. They gave life to a type of sound that is linked to the architecture of the city and where different styles of the 'underground' music scene meet.
