Panzer. Macht. Geschichte - Ende einer Jahrhundertwaffe? plot
Tanks are fast, rugged killing machines designed solely for destruction. Since their invention in the early 20th century, they have also been an integral part of the omnipotent fantasies of state leaders and dictators. They have undoubtedly been the backbone of every land army for the past 100 years. The huge vehicles have long since rolled into global culture - as memorials, in movies or on posters. Tanks have made history and have become part of history themselves. But why were they developed in the first place? How and why did their triumphant march begin? And: have they become obsolete due to remote-controlled drones and aerial wars?
