Pandoras Vermächtnis plot

Georg Wilhelm Pabst was one of the most respected filmmakers in the world in the 1920s and early 1930s. Known as a staunch socialist film writer, Pabst became a black sheep in the 1940s when he started working for the Nazi film industry. The circumstances under which this happened are still under discussion. In the 'politics' of the film world, Pabst is a left-wing love affair with a bad ending. Few give him the benefit of the doubt.
