Outside the Court plot
Documentary about people who present themselves at the Highbury Magistrates Court in London to be heard, judged and/or convicted. It ranges from armed robbers and die-hard thieves to drug addicts to concerned fathers of unruly youths. The cinematographer observes them at the entrance to the courthouse and lets them tell their story. Isaacs camped at the entrance to the courthouse for three months and shows how the eye of the camera sometimes sees more than that of the law. But that makes it even more difficult to pass judgment if possible.
