Out in the Night plot

"A lifetime demanding self-defense, one night they fought back."

One night in West Village, a group of young black lesbians are attacked. When they defend themselves, things go wrong. The girls are arrested, but their aggressor goes free. The girls are sentenced to prison for organized violence. The documentary "Out in the Night" explores the perspective of young black lesbians and the intersections between sexual orientation, social background and gender in the story of 'the gang of lesbian killers'.
