In 'Paragraph 175' of the Code of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) it was stated that homosexuality was punishable and that one could therefore be prosecuted for it. This documentary is about people who lived in the GDR and consciously or unconsciously concealed their homosexuality. Bullying was the order of the day, but there were also positive aspects.
