Omdat Wij Mooi Waren plot

A number of former comfort women tell their stories, despite the taboo on the subject. The now elderly women were systematically abused by the Japanese occupiers during the Second World War. They were often held in special soldier's brothels and had to provide sexual services to the Japanese soldiers almost daily. The elderly women still carry the pain with them. They tell about the events, the fear and how this has affected their lives.
