Oileán Thoraí plot

Tory Island is about eight miles off the coast of Donegal and is Ireland's most remote inhabited island. Its notorious inaccessibility and unforgiving landscape does not deter the inhabitants. The director captures the changing patterns of life on Tory over the course of eighteen months. It is an intimate portrait, exploring the islanders' lives, their character and community.
