"How one man's love of transport led to a lifetime of incarceration."
The true story of Darius McCollum, a man with Asperger's syndrome, a type of autism. He ended up in prison 32 times for impersonating a New York City bus driver and subway conductor and even taking a bus or subway. As a boy, Darius was fleeing school bullies and was found on the subway. He befriended the local workers who taught him how to drive trains. Darius drove a full train for 8 stops at the age of 15, completing all the assignments. Over the next three decades, he drove hundreds of trains and buses and stayed on the road and on schedule, never getting paid. Despite the fact that Darius never damaged property or injured anyone, he spent 23 years in a maximum security prison.
