Notre-Dame Résurrection plot

From 2020 to 2024, filmmaker Xavier Lefebvre followed the work of the people behind the restoration until the reopening in December 2024. With exclusive access to the construction site, more than 350 hours of never-before-seen footage and almost thirty interviews with the craftsmen, managers and chief architects of the monument conservation. These craftsmen, more than 2,000 women and men (including contractors, masons and stonemasons, carpenters, sculptors, organ builders, clockmakers, painting restorers and master glassblowers), are the heroes of the film.
