Niets voor de Eeuwigheid plot

This documentary tells the story of industrial heritage from the 19th and 20th centuries from the angle of 'industrial archaeology'. Using drawings, photographs and both historical and new film material, the film focuses on the disappearance or decay of monumental inventions from a recent past, such as steam engines, old railway bridges, water towers and factories. The industrial heritage changed the face of modern society, but now seems itself to have been discarded.
