Navajo plot

"He has his eyes on your heart!"

The story is set in 1940 on the Navajo Reservation. A young native traverses the area with sheep and goats every morning so that the sun, whom he considers his true father, will see him and know that he wants a horse. Based on what he has heard from his tribesmen about the injustice done to the Native Americans by the whites, he rejects a school of whites. In this way he gets caught in a conflict between two different cultures.
