Cosplay is a form of performance art in which the participants use costumes and accessories to portray a particular character or idea. 'My Other Me' is a documentary about a year in the lives of three completely different "cosplayers": a veteran who launched his career this way, a 14-year-old cosplaying for the first time and a transgender who found this way. The documentary covers every aspect of each costumer's life, ranging from the domestic life, the transformation through their costume, their journeys through the different gatherings to the profound effect that costume play has on each of their lives.
