My Father and Me plot

Maurice Broomfield made a name for himself as a photographer in post-war England with his characteristic photographs of industrial environments: workers, factories and large machinery were captured by him in poetic images. When his son Nick became a documentary filmmaker, his style couldn't be more different than his father's: raw, chaotic and imperfect. He turned away from his father's artistic images, which he found naive and old-fashioned. It took a long time for father and son to embrace and even appreciate their differences.
