Museum of the Revolution plot

“The wind picked up in the night and took our plans with us,” reads the announcement in the Museum of the Revolution. The words refer to the plan in 1961 to build a grand museum in Belgrade as a tribute to socialist Yugoslavia. It was supposed to 'guarantee the truth' about the Yugoslav people, but the plan never got beyond the construction of an underground floor. The dilapidated building now tells a completely different story than the initiators envisioned sixty years ago.
