Horror fans are introduced to a scary ride that only ends when Russ says so. He originally started at McKamey Manor to indulge his love of Halloween, but as the attraction grew in popularity, so did the severity of Russ' scare tactics. He realized that he was attracting more and more followers. By cultivating an online persona and a cult-like following, Russ was able to express his basest instincts and was rewarded with online fame and notoriety.
