Miúcha, the Voice of Bossa Nova plot

Brazilian singer Miúcha has collaborated with key bossa nova figures such as Vinicius de Moraes, Tom Jobim, Stan Getz and her brother, Chico Buarque. She was married to its founder: João Gilberto. She not only sang on their records, but also co-wrote the music. Until now, her role in this music movement, and with it the female perspective on it, has been underexposed. Míucha passed away in 2018. Director Daniel Zarvos, her cousin, was already working on this film at the time, in which Míucha indirectly tells her own life story - through photos, home videos, stories, letters, watercolors and audio recordings from her personal archive.
