Mississippi Queen plot

Growing up as a neat Protestant girl, Paige learns to love God first and then her family. However, in her senior year of high school she starts a relationship with a girl and that turns everything upside down. More than a decade later, she struggles to find a balance between her marriage to a woman and the fact that her deeply religious parents run the only "former gay" denomination in Mississippi. In this documentary, filmmaker Paige searches for answers as she explores the great distance between her upbringing and her current life.
