Missing in the Land of Gods plot

From a distance, Australian Jock and Dianne Chambers look like an ordinary couple on a tourist tour of India. But their motives are different: they are looking for their son Ryan, who disappeared in 2005 after staying in an Ashram. He disappeared without a passport, money or phone, leaving only a note: "If I'm gone, I'm not dead. I need to expand minds, starting with mine." Although the parents have tried everything, it turns out that new doors open during the journey that may lead to a trail of their youngest son.
