Milou's Strijd Gaat Door plot

When 17-year-old Milou dies on October 2, 2023, years of suffering come to an end. The once-vibrant Milou is a shadow of the girl she once was. She is deeply burdened by a number of psychological traumas. Her loved ones and caregivers do everything they can to alleviate her suffering and put her death wish at bay. When, after years of fighting, nothing works, euthanasia brings Milou salvation. Her fight for a dignified end to her suffering is over, but it takes a bittersweet turn when a group of psychiatrists and doctors write to the Public Prosecution Service urging a criminal investigation.
