Milestones plot
In the mid-1970s – between the democratization of the 1960s and the individualism of the 1980s – Robert Kramer and John Douglas interviewed dozens of American men and women who had radically opposed the establishment over the past decade. As founders of the activist Newsreel Collective, Kramer and Douglas had already filmed The People's War in Vietnam in the summer of 1969, about the society in North Vietnam that was under attack from the Americans at the time.
