Miles plot

The documentary does not attempt to explain who Miles Davis was, but explores how he created. Through stories from musicians who played with him—including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, and Carlos Santana—a picture emerges of a radical working method: without fixed frameworks, without certainties, driven by risk and innovation. Miles gave no answers. He created situations. The result is a film about creation in motion—and about an artist who time and again let go of the familiar to embrace the unknown.
