"Michael H." is a documentary about the career of director Michael Haneke. The use of never-before-seen images and interviews with him and the actors who have worked with him paints a picture of a highly individual artist. From his 1989 cinema debut with 'Der Siebente Kontinent' to the Oscar-winning film 'Amour', Haneke has disturbed and disturbed the more philosophically minded film buffs with his powerfully awkward stories. Jean-Louis Trintignant notes that Haneke has more fun on set than the actors have, and Isabelle Huppert thinks his humor is very Austrian, comparing Haneke to Ingmar Bergman.
