Messenger of the Truth plot

This documentary tells the true story of Father Jerzy Popieluszko, the chaplain of Solidarity. This Catholic priest and human rights activist paid the ultimate price by inspiring the people of Poland to resist the oppressive communist rule of the 1980s. Decades after his death, Father Jerzy's powerful sermons on human rights, standing up to tyranny and injustice, and advocating for truth and personal freedoms are still celebrated on an international scale.
