Meret Oppenheim - Eine Surrealistin auf Eigenen Wegen plot
At the age of eighteen, the German artist Meret Oppenheim left for Paris where she met artists such as André Breton, Marcel Duchamps, Max Ernst and Man Ray, all important representatives of surrealism. Man Ray made a series of famous photos of her and she was in a relationship with Max Ernst. It earned her the nickname "muse of the surrealists", but Meret Oppenheim was not happy about that. Oppenheim herself had artistic ambitions and she managed to realize them within a few years.
