Memory Books - Damit Du Mich Nie Vergisst... plot

In Uganda mothers with AIDS write 'memory books' for their children. It is a way for the whole family to cope with the inevitable death of a loved one. One is confronted with despair and grief by remembering and documenting together. And in the end one draws unexpected strength and comfort from that. Inspired by a reading of the book 'I Die, but the Memory Lives On' by the Swedish writer Henning Mankell, Christa Graf traveled to Uganda to get to know Memory Books and the people behind it.
