Mein Herz Sieht die Welt Schwarz - Eine Liebe in Kabul plot

Hossein and Shaima have loved each other since childhood, but are separated by the civil war. They meet again in Kabul in the late 1990s. Hossein was paralyzed by a shrapnel, Shaima was sold by her father to a 40-year-older man and later disowned with her 5-year-old daughter and returned to the yoke of her male relatives. Hossein and Shaima continue to meet despite everything, even though their chances are very small due to the harsh social rules.
