Materia Oscura plot

The picturesque region around Salto di Quirra in Sardinia appears at first sight to be a robust piece of unexplored nature. But appearances can be deceiving: for more than 50 years, the area has served as a military test zone for companies and governments from around the world. If you look closely, you can see the injuries of this decades-long 'warfare': rusting military equipment, stray bullets, natural and human ruins disfigure the landscape, nuclear radiation destroyed all life.
