March of the Living plot

Documentary about the last generation of Holocaust survivors who traveled to Poland with thousands of teenagers from all over the world. They again follow the Death March from Auschwitz to Birkenau. The film tells the story of the survivors' hope to pass on their history and memory of the Holocaust to the next generation. In doing so, the director follows survivors and teenagers from Sao Paulo, Los Angeles and Berlin on an emotional journey as they confront the overwhelming impression of the past and hope for a brighter future on a visit to Israel on its 60th birthday.
