Mamma Please Call Me plot

The documentary "Mamma Please Call Me" portrays the 'transnational' family life of the Filipino Emma, who lives in London, and her two children Hannah (16) and Tsino (7), who live in Manila. Emma works with her mother as a maid and nanny in London. She left her children in the Philippines and handed over the daily care for them to relatives and nannies. She calls and texts frequently. The film focuses on the way Emma tries to maintain her family life thousands of miles away.
